You will find us in the Kehlen industrial zone between the villages of Kehlen and Olm.

What materials can I hand in at the recycling park?

Among other things, you can hand in items free of charge at the recycling centre:

  • Recyclable waste, such as: certain plastics, paper, glass, cardboard, construction waste, wood, electrical and electronic equipment, scrap metal, old clothes, window panes, rubber products, green waste and leaves
  • Items that you no longer need but are still usable, e.g. books, records, CDs, video and music cassettes, lamps, toys, school materials, glasses, cutlery, sports equipment, bicycles, musical instruments,…
  • Hazardous waste containing harmful substances (Superdreckskescht), such as paints, varnishes, acids, batteries, fluorescent tubes, aerosol cans, ….

For a fee:

  • Bulky waste
  • Tyres: with rim / without rim

Why/how do I have to register as a company or trader before I can drop something off at the recycling centre?

If you are a company or business, it is necessary to register before your visit by calling 30 78 38 30

Companies and businesses may only deliver small quantities. The capacities of our containers must be checked before unloading. Our employees at the recycling park want to ensure that every customer can unload without any problems.

What waste can I have collected from my home?

The following house-to-house collections are offered in the SICA communities:

  • Residual waste bin
  • Organic waste bin
  • Paper bin
  • Glass bin

After prior booking:

  • Bulky waste (for a fee)
  • Scrap metal and electronic scrap (for a fee)
  • Hedges, Shrubs and Trees
  • Clothing and Shoes

What are the costs for collection?

For the current fees, e.g. for the collection and emptying of residual waste, organic waste, paper or glass bins and the collection of bulky waste, please contact your communal administration.

How do I register for the pick-ups?

  • The collection of old clothes, hedge trimmings, bulky waste, scrap metal and refrigerators is on call, i.e. you must register for collection at least 3 working days before the actual collection date. Registrations can be made by calling 30 78 38-1 (in the morning from 8.00 to 11.30 a.m.) or by email – info@sica.lu or as an online reservation.
  • Place your waste or waste containers ready for collection on time (6.00 a.m.)!
  • Please ensure that the lid of the waste bin is closed!
  • Overfilled containers will not be emptied!

Weekly collection of the grey residual waste bins is possible against payment of an additional fee! For this we need a written order (e-mail, letter, fax) from you. The additional collection fees can be requested from the municipalities.

What should I do if my waste bin has not been emptied?

If you have any problems emptying your waste bins, please contact us on 30 78 38 1 or by e-mail: info@sica.lu.

What should I do if I have forgotten to put my waste bin out for collection?

Please call us on 30 78 38 1 or send us an e-mail to info@sica.lu. Or simply wait until the next time the bin in concern is emptied.

What should I do if my waste bin is damaged?

If you have any problems with your waste bin, please contact us on 30 78 38 1 or by email at info@sica.lu.

Where do I register/disregister my waste bin?

To register and deregister your waste containers, please contact your community administration.
